EMMETT 4 Dogs was officially launched in 2015 and I was one of the first instructors in Australia to go through training with Ross Emmett.
I have always been an animal lover - and have a background in animal rescue. Our family home was often filled with critters of different shapes and sizes - from birds and piglets, dogs and cats, puppies and kittens. I am also a Macropod wildlife carer and love to foster orphaned joeys - however with all the travelling involved with teaching this isn't possible at the current time and I hope one day to get back into it.
My current dogs consist of "Louie" an 8yo Chinese Crested, "Coby" a 7yo Golden Retriever, and "Lacey" a 6yo Cocker/Poodle mix. Then there are the other family dogs - Dexter & Tilly, and Mia & Ruby - who are often over for a visit and an EMMETT fix.
Coby was diagnosed with hip dysplasia when he was 9 mths old and surgery was recommended - but with a diet change and plenty of EMMETT love he is still bounding around like a young dog, you wouldn't know he has hip problems. He also suffers from chronic reflux and often comes over to nudge me at night time for a quick correction to help him feel better. He loves EMMETT - well all my dogs do and when I hold training courses in Townsville they all come along to be used as demonstration and training dogs.
I hold regular courses in TOWNSVILLE and MELBOURNE, and have now started to share the Technique in ADELAIDE & PERTH - so if you are in any of these areas and would like to know more about upcoming dates please give me a call or send me an email - hope to meet you soon.
