Rebecca’s obsession with horses started when she rode a donkey on the beach in England when she was two years old.  She started riding weekly when she was six and since then there have always been horses in her life.  Unable to afford a horse of her own as a child she spent most of her waking hours gazing at local horses in their fields when she was not catching and brushing horses at the riding school.

Her interest in the Emmett Technique originated from an unsound horse she owned.  At 11 he was unsound even in the paddock.  Learning the Emmett Technique has enabled this horse to become sound and he now enjoys an active life.

Rebecca teaches the horse practitioner course and short course as well as the EMM-Tech short course.  She has a busy practice in Pakenham, Victoria where she treats people as well as horses.  She is also a consultant for Equine Soundness Inc, an international school for hoofcare practitioners and students.
